However, these effects are usually mild and temporary. To minimise any potential side effects, follow the aftercare tips provided by our experienced team.

Dermal Filler Injections are generally safe, but there are some possible side effects to be aware of. These may include redness, swelling, bruising, or slight discomfort at the injection site. We will cool the area prior to treatment to reduce any possible brusing and apply a topical numbing cream to the area to maximise comfort. There may be some mild discomfort but generally with numbing cream, this will be very minimal. The product also contains lidocaine so continues to numb throughout the procedure.

You may expereince some bruising and swelling. This is completely normal and you can expect this to reduce in a few days but allow up to a couple of weeks. We will review. It can take up to 4 weeks to see the final result but immediete results following treatment can be seen.

Dermal fillers can last anywhere between 9-18 months, sometimes longer depending on the area treated and longevity of the product used which we will discuss in your consultation.

The duration of results from Dermal Fillers can vary depending on the type of filler used and individual factors. In general, the effects can last from several months to a year or more. To maintain the longevity of your treatment, we recommend scheduling follow-up appointments as advised by our skilled professionals.

Before your treatment:

• Do not take blood thinning medication for 2 weeks before treatment
• No alcohol at least 48 hours before

After treatment:

• No alcohol for 48 hours
• Do not touch the injection areas or apply make up for 24 hours
• No heavy excercise for 48 hours
• Avoid hot steam baths/saunas for 2 weeks
• So not use sunbeds/avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks
• Do not lie flat or bend over/forward for at least 4 hours after
• Drink plenty of water
